You're first issue, I need more information.
Exactly what is in your clipboard when you paste?
Exactly where are you pasting?
Also, please don't post multiple bugs/problems in a single thread.
If I copy say "test" to the clipboard, then in the table view click on the column filter button then without clicking into the search box use Ctrl+V to paste. This then updates the data in the filter list and the column to "test".

When you click on the funnel/filter dialog, the focus is on the column, and all cells are selected. That's why you're seeing what you're seeing.
I'm thinking the correct behavior would be for the filter dialog to have the focus by default so that the pasted content goes there w/o having to click on it. Will discuss with the developer.

Yes, there appears to be a focus issue there. I'll see what can be done. For the moment you just need to click on the filter field before pasting.
I believe the 50 row issue will be fix in a future release.
