I have a stored procedure with one parameter input, and a report/form APEX interface for my table
I want to create a button for every line (like edit button) that when clicked call the stored procedure already existed.
My question is :
Is that realizable using APEX,if yes how to do it ?
PS : I'm new in APEX
Instead you can do this
Create a hidden item to set your input parameter :P1_INPUT
Creata a report.
Go to report attributes you want to kick of ur procedure
Navigate to column link,
Lets say report is on page 1.
Page in this application 1
set value to the hidden item.
Onload before header write a process,
Have it conditional
:P1_INPUT NOT NULL
:P1_INPUT := NULL;
Assuming the parameter passed to the procedure comes from the report row, you can do this...
4. Create a dynamic action to execute the pl/sql procedure passing P1_PARAM1 using id ID4DA as a jquery selector to trigger the DA.
Hope it was clear.
Good point, I did this already and it worked.
