    I want to add additional management service with different user and port

      Hi,

      Grid control version is 10.2.0.1.0.

      Now my company has more than 100 targets or with large administration teams accessing the OMS,

      The original grid infrastructure for us is  1 OMS+ 1 OMR. The OMS responses very slowly recently.

      Now that we decide to add  additional management service in another machine.

      The user to operate the original OMS is different from the coming OMS, will it be a problem when configuring the new OMS?

      The other question is, we want to use different port (11200) for the new OMS, May it be practical, if OK, How to do this?

      Thanks very much.

          OK, U can choose any username, any userid to install the additional management service in another machine.

          It has nothing to do with the original OMS's setup. They stay in 2 totally different machine. Their OHS, OC4J and OracleAS Web Cache

          run independently.

          That is a standard fully documented question:

          $ /Disk1/runInstaller oracle.sysman.top.oms:s_staticPorts=/home/oracle/myport.txt

          The content of /home/oracle/myport.txt may like the following:

          Oracle HTTP Server port = 11199

          Oracle HTTP Server SSL port = 4443
