I have 2 connections pools in the physical layer of the database. One connecting to a database which host the data load part and the other pointing to a standby database (replica of the primary database). For a few marketing segmentation cache related queries in the BI Apps warehouse, there is a need to point a specific report to use the connection pool to the active server, instead of standby. Is there a specific configuration setting that can be done at the report level to use a separate connection pool, instead of the what is is used by default for all the reporting queries?
Thanks SasiNagiredy, tried some variation from the instructions provided in the link and it worked.
Created a session variable and allowed user to set the value. Used this variable in the connection pool and changed this value at the report, in the advanced tab, using SET VARIABLE <SESSION_VARIABLE> = DBTNSentry; in the prefix section. In my case, since it is a replica, the connection pool credential change was not required as was able to get it to work as expected.
