hi,iam using jdev 126.96.36.199 recently i degraded to jdev 188.8.131.52 ...any problem with web logic version because my client location they are using web logic of 184.108.40.206 ,we are using jdev 220.127.116.11 of weblogic...when i run my application it is working fine in my system..when i was deployed into client system ..it is geting problem not working properly...how to resolve...
You have to backport the whole application and test, test, test it. Read my blog about a small application I backported here http://wp.me/pcBZk-xc
Keep in mind that the application was small and simple and that you might have to solve other problems in your application.
timo,my question is.
developer version at the time of starting 18.104.22.168(web logic is related to integrated jdev 22.214.171.124) and then degrated to 126.96.36.199(we are redevelope total application in jdev 188.8.131.52) web logic related integrated jdev 184.108.40.206
client version of web logic is 10.3.6.
=========>>>>when i was developed the application in jdev 220.127.116.11 and deploy into client place it is working fine ....now we changed jdev version to 18.104.22.168 and develope the hole application again here(in jdev 22.214.171.124) but deploying it into client side, wih same web logic version (we are not changed) so forms are not reoading properly......
This it's simple add you only have to install the adf runtime 126.96.36.199.0 on your wls 10.3.6 and it should work.
The hard part is that once you have installed adf runtime 11.1.2.x you can't just install the other adf runtime, but you have to install a new wls 10.3.6 and install the runtime into the new wls. This it's because there is no installer for the adf runtime.
Jdev 188.8.131.52.0 applications can run on a wls 10.3.5 or a wls 10.3.6 server.
The essential part is the adf runtime installed on the wls server, which must be of version 184.108.40.206.0 for both wls versions.
Jdev has some problems running on jdk 1.7.0 but this is true for both versions you are using. I have no information on any effect on running wls 10.3.5 or wls 10.3.6 using jdk 1.7.0 together with an adf application. I would only investigate this after checking the adf runtime version on the wls you are deploying your application too.
My blog http://wp.me/pcBZk-7S lists the valid combinations of jdev and wls.
