I don't want to suppress the Rows. I want to suppress a column if there is no cell Text in any of the Cell in the entire column
In the Report i've 20 Account members in the Row, and Entity, Period in the Columns. In the columns, i've also created a Text Column and using Cell Text to show User comments in the Report. If there are no comments entered by user in the Dataform/Smartview, the column should not show in the Report
I don't think suppression works on text columns using Basic Suppression. You can achieve it using conditional suppression. Refer to the link
Solomon Yakobson Can we use COALESCE in Hyperion Financial Reports? I don't think so.
In the Column, i'm trying to keep conditional format as Suppress if column B contains No Data, also tried different options like current cell value contains (given space), but this cell text column is not understanding No Data / other Hyperion stuff. BTW it is suppressing a column even if a cell has Cell Text if i keep condition as suppress column if contains No data
So, this cell comments are entered in DataForms. So, is the datatype of the member "Text" in planning application?
As far as i know there is no straightforward way. (I would love to if someone can suggest )
