We are on Hyperion version 184.108.40.206. We have FDM web application and ERPi installed and configured on one server and ODI 10.1.3.6 and FDM server installed on a different server. We are trying to configure ERPI to enable drill through to Peoplesoft from a FR report for which the source is an Essbase application.
1. Should ODI be on the same server?
2. Is ODI 10.1.3.6 compatible with Hyperion 220.127.116.11?
3. Can I use FR report as a target for ERPi? The FR report is created from Essbase BSO application?
4. Can Essbase be used as a target for ERPi?
5. Will there be any configuration or adapters required for FDM too?
Thanks for your Reply. Got another question.
I see that I need to create a logical and physical schema for ERPI itself. In the physical schema do I need to specify the schema for ERPI that was used in the EPM configurator?
And when you say "You just need to register your essbase app" do you mean that I need to add it as a target in ERPi in workspace?
And If I have to drill through from Essbase or FR, is it necessary that the data should be loaded to the essbase app through ERPI?
If this is 18.104.22.168. ERPi comes with a pre-defined Master and Work Repository that you can import into the ODI Database repository.
It will include the required Physical and Logical architectures, you just need to update the database details on the Physical Schema for your environment.
For your second question, you would register the Essbase Application as a target application within ERPi under "Target Applications"
Question #3: Yes, if you want to drill through to Peoplesoft.
