As Oracle is pushing towards OUD upgrade, could you please let me know how OUD's DPS stands against ODSEE's DPS. Does it contain all features as compared to older version? Any suggestions?
In our setup, we extensively most of the features as offered by ODSEE.
As of today (11gR2PS1), OUD proxy covers most DPS features, except RDBMS and Join virtualization functions which are available with OVD.
Unlike DPS, it comes with a public Plugin API that can help the transition in case a very specific feature is missing.
DPS connection handler corresponds OUD network groups. See Understanding Oracle Unified Directory Concepts and Architecture - 11g Release 2 (11.1.2)
