My requirement is to install and integrate oracle Primavera P6 8.3 with oracle Business Process management 184.108.40.206.0 on OEL 5.5.
EPPM Server : OEL 5.5 32bit
Weblogic server URL: http://primavera.xxxx.com:7001/console
BPM Server : OEL 5.5 32bit
Hostname : bpm.xxxx.com
Weblogic Server URL: http://bpm.xxxx.com:7001/console
We have installed the BPM 220.127.116.11.0 setup in a weblogic server and the respective weblogic server URL is (http://bpm.xxxx.com:7001/console) and its currently up & running.
In this web logic server we have created a domain with 2 managed server SOA and BAM. Please find the below details,
bam_server soa_server RUNNING OK 9001
soa_server soa_server RUNNING OK 8001
While running the "eppmconfig" in P6 environment in-order to configure with BPM process, We copied all the BPM library and connector files to the P6 EPPM server. According to the Oracle Document "connecting_bpm_11g_to_p6.pdf"
In the P6 EPPM Configuration wizard "BPM Configuration" tab its requesting for the below inputs.
bpm.user: ? => Please advise whether i have give new user name here for BPM admin, Initially i haven't created any user. (My guess : weblogic)
bpm.password: ? (My guess : Welcome123(pwd of weblogic user))
(I am having URL : bpm.xxxx.com:8001/soa-infra)
bpm.security.realm: => (jazn.com by default)
bpm.partition: ? => default
Please suggests me which input values, we have to give in the above mentioned variables,
Awaiting for the valuable suggestions.
Thanks for your response. But i had been using username as admin/pwd of admin is also working. I had tested one webservice through BPM workspace. When will this username will take an effect? What could be the reason for working this with P6 admin user?
P6 configuration takes effect when you access BPM project from within P6 application Workflow dashboard. When you access it from within BPM workspace, P6 configuration are not used. Instead the deployment profile you used at the time of application deployment to SOA server is used.
So the deployment profile should contain a valid P6 user name which in most case should be P6 application super user with access to P6 web service. While the P6 admin configuration should contain valid credential that will allow you to connect to the BPM server.
Customize the dashboard to include Workflow dashboard. From there you should be able to invoke the workflow assuming you have the setup done correctly in P6 administrator, defined username in weblogic->myrealm to be same as P6 user and assigned appropriate role to it.
