I create a table in oracle11g with Chinese name , and I want to create asyn cachegroup in Timesten11g, timesten11g give a error that the Chinese character is illegal. Can timesten11g support to define cachegroup with Chinese name? Can I have other method to solve this problem?
Sorry, at this time TimesTen only supports English names for database objects. I have not tried it but you could try creating a private synonym (with a name consisting only of ascii characters) for the table in Oracle DB and defining the cache group against that synonym instead. This is supported and may possibly work for tables with non-English names. This is only possible for AWT and SWT cache groups - it does not work for AUTOREFRESH cache groups.
