I have problem with adding Corrective Action. Each time when I create Corrective Action (OS script, RMAN script etc.) and try to add it to one of our database metric, at last step when I need to confirm it, OEM sends me to the homepage OEM screen. When go back to check metric I can see that there is no applied Corrective Action at all .
Why? Is it a bug or something else?
OS environment where our OMS 18.104.22.168 resides is RHEL 5.8.
You should not need to turn on Compatibility view. In fact, when you turn on Compatibility view, you should start seeing an error popup on log in asking you to turn off compatibility view. Can you tell me - what operating system is your browser on (e.g. Windows XP/Windows7) and which version of IE are you using? Also, how exactly did you navigate in the console to see the issue?
Thank you, Maria
You are right....
I'm using IE 10 on desktop machine with OS Windows 7 Enterprise edition SP1. I have created Library Corrective Action (RMAN script).
I then go to the database homepage of the database I want to apply the corrective action. Then I click on Oracle Database>Monitoring>Metric and Collection Settings
After this I find for my case the Archive Area Used % metric and click the pencil icon to the right of the metric. I set the warning and critical threshold if not already and then I click Edit. From drop down I select "from Library" and then Continue. After choosing my RMAN script action when I click continue I've been kicked out back to OEM home screen, instead of proceeding to the next step to give a name, parameters and credentials for my action.
