As per your suggestion i set SELINUX=permissive
# This file controls the state of SELinux on the system.
# SELINUX= can take one of these three values:
# enforcing - SELinux security policy is enforced.
# permissive - SELinux prints warnings instead of enforcing.
# disabled - SELinux is fully disabled.
SELINUX=permissive
# SELINUXTYPE= type of policy in use. Possible values are:
# targeted - Only targeted network daemons are protected.
# strict - Full SELinux protection.

This is incorrect - remove "oel5.linuxserver oel5" from the 127.0.0.1 line
Add a separate line for "oel5.linuxserver oel5" with a static IP address.
Reboot the server and try again.

Please confirm you are installing the correct DB bit platform with the OS platform.
That is:
DB 32 bit and OS 32 bit or vice versa.
You may check the OS bit as follows
arch
and check whether you have download the correct 32 or 64 bit Oracle software. If there is a mismatch, please download and try installing the correct one
