I think I've seen this as well. Will investigate.
Did you add the -consoleLog flag to get the output in the Terminal window?
You could try deleting your ~/.jmc folder and see if that makes any difference.
Looks like deleting the ~/.jmc resolved it. I did add -consoleLog, and the output is in the SO thread along with the exception if you need it. Thanks for the quick response!
