Look in String functions from OBIEE, if you dont find anything then just tweak them to get your requirements.
let me know if you dont know how to do
if helps mark
Push it to the DB through an evaluate: EVALUATE('regexp_instr(%1,''(_)[^/]'', 1, 1)' for example. I had better regexps for finding Nth occurrence of a string, but can't remember it off the top of my head
SUBSTRING("YourSubjectArea"."YourColumn" from EVALUATE('regexp_instr(%1,''(_)[^_]*$'')' AS INTEGER , "YourSubjectArea"."YourColumn") + 1 FOR 2)
Try to come back on our responses..
The tweak using OBIEE is as below
SUBSTRING('ak_mike_fe' FROM POSITION('_' IN INSERT('ak_mike_fe', POSITION('_' IN 'ak_mike_fe'), 1, '$'))+1 FOR 2)
replace 'ak_mike_fe' with your column name
if it doesnt work let me know.
obi is cool bi
