This is not currently possible, but it should be a feature of Beehive Workspaces. The problem is, people create workspaces for projects, then don't delete them when the project is finished. Also, I get added to workspaces in which I don't participate, and I can't get out without requesting removal from the owner. I'm now a member of dozens of workspaces which clutters everything and makes the ones I actually do use less beneficial.
On BeehiveOnline we have more control than stbeehive, the internal instance, and I have implemented the code to allow you to remove yourself from the Workspace.
Go to the Admin tool, right hand button on the main https://beehiveonline.oracle.com page, and navigate to All Workspaces - select the Workspace and there is a button at the top right "Remove me from the Workspace" - click that and you will be removed. Job done
was wondering about the function on the BHO management console (https://beehiveonline.oracle.com/BOLAdmin.html) "All my Workspaces" there is a button "Remove me from the Workspace" - is this the function the guys is asking for?
Unfortunately, when I try your solution I get an error trying to access the admin tool.
"The query returned an error - this is normally assoiciated with a session timeout or an Invalid Account
You are advised to log out, clear cookies and log back in to re-establish the connection"
I tried clearing cookies, but it didn't help.
Yep, that message is a pain. We use the REST API for that and it seems to be particularly picky sometimes but I have never managed to nail down the exact problem. Try logging out to clear all the SSO stuff and try again or use another browser. I sometimes find that if you let the groups section get completed first and then click on the All Workspaces it works more consistently.
I'm consistently getting this message as well. Tried latest Firefox and IE9 and did clear everything (history, cookies, etc.). I am subscribed to a pile of workspaces, but to my knowledge, I'm not part of any groups, so there's nothing to populate in the groups section. Anything else I can try?
