do you find the soa-infra under Console => Deployments? If so, can you try to start it from there? If start from there is not working, what can you find in the server log?
When you create your domain for SOA, ensure that you have selected EM for deployment to Weblogic. Start your weblogic first and keep an eye on any issues in your log located in domain home/servers/logs. When Weblogic is running you can open your EM @ http://hostserver:7001/em - now star your soa and check logs for soa managed server. In your EM cosole a SOA folder will appear with the soa-infra located under that with partition. If that isn't there then there is something else wrong which you should be able to see in your managed server log file.
replace 8001 with the port number of the managed server
If you don't see the "Welcome to the Oracle SOA Platform on WebLogic", your installation is not right... Search the log files to see if you can find the cause...
I uninstalled the SOA suite & followed the steps to install suggested by JF4MW .. Issue Still Persists.
Am able to start the SOA amanged server from weblogic with any issue...
Not able to open via console(http://localhost:8001/soa-infra) nor able to see the SOA folder or SOA-infra in the navigation of EM.
Checked the logs no errors found!!!
Any taughts on this??
Hi there, Is this a local SOA installation that you are doing or is setup in a specific way on a server or something? I believe you're on track! When you log onto your weblogic console go to environment>servers>configuration and see if your SOA and WebLogic Admin server is running OK. Check which port your Admin and SOA is running on and let me know in this forum. You should be able to access the EM with the following link. http://YourServerHostName:YourAdminServerPort/em - Once you have opened that you should be able to see the SOA folder if you system is running fine and without any errors as you've said.
Again I am also asking if you find the soa-infra under Weblogic Console => Deployments? If so, can you try to start just the soa-infra app from there? If start is not possible you will definetely find information in the server log. Please post them here.
I'm doing local SOA Suite Installation..
Yes both Weblogic(Admin) Server & SOA Server r running
Admin Port: 7001
SOA port: 8001
To access em: http://localhost:7001/em
Unfortunetly Am not able to see soa-infra in navigation of em!!!
Danilo: I dont see any entry has soa-infra in Weblogic Console => Deployments
I have followed below link for installation of SOA Suite
Please guide where am gng wrong...
Okay sweet, so once you have opened your em you should see your server farm which has the same name as you domain. Farm_soa_domain - below that application deployments and after that you should find the SOA folder (your soa_infra should be below that) expand it further to default partition to deploy a project. If your soa-infra isn't there then I think you should check that you have done your RCU setup correctly
My em console structure looks as below
If your SOA folder isn't there, then I think there is definitely something wrong with you install. I would redo the install
If the soa-infra is not listed under weblogic admin console / deployments then it means that it is not installed. The soa-infra is the container and base for your SOA composites. Please double-check if you really cannot find it. If so then your installation wasn't successful.
I think that there is something wrong with your db setup - your SOA infra is linked with your database so it might be that you got someting wrong there. Check that you created your schemas correctly with the rcu tool ensure that when you create your domain that all soa
users can connect to your db.
