    4.2.3 to 4.1.1




      Situation - We are planning to move from 4.1.1 to 4.2.3 on DEV. if we make any changes to the apps in DEV without using any new features of 4.2.3 and migrate them to TEST and PROD (which are still in 4.1.1), will it cause any problems? Please advice.

          I doubt it will work - there is this step in the export that checks these things... and APIs have a tendency to change between versions.

            Yes Scott. It looks like it will not work. I am doing some tests now. But got this

              Its better to update the QA & Prod versions of APEX before updating dev....  Just in case there are code issues, you can REVERT them while still keeping dev code in lower version...
