We experienced Oracle DB crash this morning and we were able to to bring the system back up again. In reviewing the workflows, specifically expense reports, we show the active workflows were restarted once we brought the DB back up.
So now the workflow show they have escalated up the manager chain even if that manager has the correct approval limit. So would like to know what process in bringing the DB back up triggered the workflows to cycle past the approval hierarchy logic. Note also we are not using AME.
If anyone can shed some light on when the DB comes back up what process start to kick in automatically. Does the tables get re indexed?
