.Net inserting extra forward slash

I have been trying to sort out this little problem I have.

Yes I know it is .Net and this is a Java discussion group, but please bare with me.

I have a company that uses a Java app to communicate with our web service running on our server. I seem to be having an issue with the SOAPAction that the Java client is sending to our web service.

The general problem is described in this article that I started from the .Net perspective.

As I said, I know that this is not strictly anything to do with Java, but I am wondering if any of you may have come across this before.
