even a slight hint of what unforgiveable coding heresies I have committed ) - HOW do I display my diagnostics embedded with the source code they refer
(. . . back in the good 'ol 1970's we had compilers that did this for you as a matter of course ; much too user-friendly to expect something like that from Oracle !!)
