    Customer is not able to join WebConf - error message cache must be enabled

    User804293-Oracle

      Customer having jre 1.7u45 installed was not able to join WebConf today

       

       

      customer receives error

       

          unable to launch application

          cache must be enabled for nativelib or installer-desc support

       

       

      An other college from this customer in same office was bale to connect - so issue happens on specific PC,

      but I was not able to instruct customer , which settings have to be set

       

       

      How can I add screen shots ?

      I have two showing customer error

          Hi,

           

          Looks like it can be duplicated if the following changes are made:

          Disable Java Caching.  Control Panel->Java.  On the General tab, Temporary 
          Internet Files pane, select Settings and untick the 'Keep temporary files on my computer' option.  Clear the Java cache

           

          So reversing the process - go to the Java app on the Control panel, select Settings onj the General, Temporary Internet Files pane and then tick to "Keep Temporary files on my Computer". This should hopefully solve the problem.
