I have a custom form for scheduling trucks for shipping orders. I defined a new order type under a new organization and am having issues querying this new order type in this custom form. The data in this custom form comes from a view based on standard Order Management Tables.
When I explicitly set the dbms_application_info.set_client_info('org_id') in TOAD and run the query from the view definition, I can see the new order type. But when I try from the form, the new order type that I defined doesn't show up.
I checked the form triggers and no where there is the org initialized.
The application version is 11.5.9.
Forms version is :184.108.40.206.2
Database version is 220.127.116.11.
Can anyone please help with the resolution of the problem.
Please ask your question in the EBS General Discussion forum since your question deals with setup of a new order type in the EBS. If you have a general Forms question, by all means, ask your question here.
Again, you are dealing with an issue that are unique to the Oracle Enterprise Business Suite (EBS) not Oracle Forms. The EBS Framework has built-in methods for setting environment variables. Please ask your question in the EBS General Questions forum and someone there will be able to help you. Not everyone who participates in this forum have worked with the EBS and in my case, it has been a long time since I have worked with the EBS and I don't remember.
