Where you want me to save Java file?

it seems you still have mulitiple XML config files

look in  Oracle_Home>\Middleware\user_projects\epmsystem1\config\foundation\ver\product\foundation\ver (look for config.xml files for all the product) if you see a copy, rename it with some other file extension,

also make sure you are using the same user credentials whoever installed the EPM system or did you do right click run as administrator ? (try this method)

& to set java home you would look for  "jdk1.6.0_06" DIR, to set java home use command SET JAVA_HOME = path if it is java related issue.

                    Hi,

Better ways are to rename the Home Folder which will retain the copy of all conf files and incase if you need to refer any configuration in future will help.

And javaw shouldn't be an issue because its not part of hyperion bundle which comes or you dont have java installed on your machine. javaw is a java web start program available under jdk/bin .

if you are not sure if java is installed on your machine. checkc below.

                    1. Click Start
                    2. Select Control Panel
                    3. Select Programs
                    4. Click Programs and Features
                    5. The installed Java version(s) are listed.

And according to subject of this discussion, if you are not able to launch EPM configuration check if environment variable do exists .

                    Thanks

                    Amith
