Option to Auto-Populate Search Field with Highlighted Text?

user3675016Jan 9 2014 — edited Jan 9 2014

In previous versions of SQL Developer, I could highlight a string, CTRL+F to do a text search, and the "Text to Search For:" box was already populated with the highlighted text.  This was hugely helpful, as I search and replace a LOT, but in version 4.0.0.14, SQL Developer no longer does this.  Also, I commonly copy text at the beginning of a session and paste the same thing over and over many times within that same session, so coping the highlighted text isn't really an option, as it would overwrite what I really want in the clipboard.  Is there a way to turn this behavior back on so it auto-fills the search box with highlighted text?

It's a bug.
