did you check FDMEE is in your installation package?
Do you currently have ERPi installed?
no I only have FDM Classic and I would like to install FDM EE on the same instance but the only option avalaible on the EPM install tool is "maintenance release"
Because you had previous installations of an eariler release on this server (any product), it is only going to let you do the "Service upgrade" option.
if you would like to start without the service upgrade, you would need to install FDMEE on a machine where there was not a previous release of the EPM system
I have found the issue. I think this could help:
There is file called ".oracle.products." on the middleware home and this file list all the epm products installed and also the version.
On my system, some windows client binairies are not upgraded by the EPM Maintenance release option (products like EAS, Essbase Studio client etc). Even after reinstalling these clients, the file is not updated.
So I have just changed the version of all my products to EPM 188.8.131.52 on the file and now EPm setup let me choose "new install" or reinstall" and I'm able to install FDM EE.
So now I have FDM and FDMEE on the same instance & middleware home.
Glad you were able to fix that.
