I am trying to show an external website as a region part of an apex page.
I've tried with PL/SQL Dynamic Content option and the following code but was not successful.
What was "not successful" about it? There is no problem with that on apex.oracle.com.
When you post here, always include the following information:
- Full APEX version
- Full database version/edition/host OS
- Web server architecture (EPG, OHS or APEX listener/host OS)
- Browser(s) and version(s) used
- Templates used (include the definitions of any custom or modified templates)

create region,type:Oracle PL/SQL: Anonymous blocks
BEGIN htp.p('<iframe src="http://www.oracle.com/us/technologies/linux/overview/index.html" width="200" height="200"></iframe>'); END;
its working fine!
It seems the issue is related with security of web browsers that are not allowing to display
I found some guidance here:
Ramani is correct that normally this should work. It should be noted, however, that if you are hosting APEX on a secure instance (which apex.oracle.com is not unless you explicitly request it) this kind of operation is unsafe and is vulnerable to man-in-the-middle attacks.
I would suggest using a popup page for a different website entirely. If you can match security, you don't have as much of an issue.
Edit: you posted your response as I was typing
