Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80040e21'

im using oracle 8.1.7.4.0, when i try to access the DB from ASP page it gives following error.

ODBC driver does not support the requested properties
/advance_search.asp, line 163

im trying to use a dns.
