This problem can be resolve with the same solution that your other thread Re: HOST NAMING
Have you try, like I said into your other post, to set USE_SHARED_SOCKET = TRUE into registry for the Oracle Home ? Setting this parameter will prevent to connect through a firewall.
Have you set the following parameters in your SQLNET.ora file
What were you trying to do when you get this error?

What is the Oracle ver. that you are running?
What is your OS?

got same problem too
this is my entry on SQLNET.ora
NAMES.DIRECTORY_PATH=(TNSNAMES, ONAMES, HOSTNAME)
tcp.validnode_checking = yes
still get TNS-12537 error
what else could be the problem?
either you should include your node name in invited nodes list or remove the valid node checking and restart the listner.
