    iStudio hanging while trying to open a project

    456893
      Hi,

      iStudio throws application( DB adapetr) error at the startup, when OK is
      clicked on the messages, it hangs showing the status as "Loading deploy view".
      Actually iStudio got closed during creating an event in B2BApp (DB
      adapter).When opened for the next time it gave above error.
      nothing worked with stopping & starting the adapeters & repository.
      Messageinfoidtable has following error entry in description column:
      "AQ Adapter: ** Error ** unable to restart database and AQ connections."
      & "XMLAQAdapter_restartFailed" entry in internalID.
      Starting of AQ Adapater is throwing following error:
      AQ Adapter: restarting database and AQ connections.
      AQ Adapter: resubscribing to queue IP_IN_QUEUE.
      AQ Adapter: ** Error ** unable to restart database and AQ connections.

      // Bridge class
      bridge_class=oracle.oai.agent.adapter.aq.XMLAQBridge
      // AQ database connection info
      aq_bridge_username=xxxx // aq_bridge_username=b2buser
      //the value of the property "aq_bridge_password" is taken from the
      Wallet.
      aq_bridge_host=oradisc
      aq_bridge_port=1521
      aq_bridge_instance=aaa
      aq_bridge_owner=aaa
      aq_bridge_consumer_name=B2BUSER
      aq_bridge_use_thin_jdbc=true

      Is there any link between the starting up of iStudio n AQ adaapter?
      If password needs to be changed then where can I do the changes, as password is stored in wallet, how to search the wallet utlility?

          Hi,

          in your description you wrote you are using DB adapter but if I look at you loggings I assume you are using AQ adapter. Right?

          As I can see you try to configure the adapter for integrating B2B with Interconnect or BPEL. Right?
          I think your adapter could not connect to target database. So first you should correct your adapter.ini. The aq_bridge_username has to be "b2b" not b2buser because the database schema installed during b2b installation has the name b2b. bridge_owner should be "b2b" as well. And then you can try it again.

          By the way - there is no link between iStudio and adapter directly.

          Regards

            Hi Colette,

            Thnx for the reply.
            Yes u r right, the whole intergration consists of AQ, DB & FTP adapter applications, connecting with B2B.
            Infact B2BUser entry is commented here.
            The inital error coming is error loading in DB application( in which I was creating some event)....then iStudio hangs showing loading deploy view.

            I tried with changing the entries suggested, still facing same issue.
            Is my metadata corrupted due to some wrong/incomplete event creation?

            Can I delete the entries from the messageinfoidtable for the event I was trying to create?

            How to check the password entries from wallet..I mean what all steps involved to check the same.

            Below is the ini file entiries for the AQ adapter:
            // Bridge class
            bridge_class=oracle.oai.agent.adapter.aq.XMLAQBridge

            // AQ database connection info
            aq_bridge_username=ichub // aq_bridge_username=b2buser
            //the value of the property "aq_bridge_password" is taken from the Wallet.
            aq_bridge_host=oradisc
            aq_bridge_port=1521
            aq_bridge_instance=b2b
            aq_bridge_owner=b2b
            aq_bridge_consumer_name=B2BUSER

            Any pointers how to check the password entries in the wallet?

              Hi,

              I think you have several problems - one with your AQ adapter for b2b and one wih iStudio. The error message while loading DB application comes because your repository is corrupted. Do you have a backup to restore your repository? Did you made any changes in repository database directly - without using iStudio?

              Your other problem is the definition of AQ adapter for B2B. As I can see in your adapter.ini you still use the wrong username. The aq_bridge_username has to be b2b. Otherwise I could not work. The b2b password is not inserted automatically into the wallet of interconnect. You have to insert it (using OracleWallet.bat/sh in <integration_home>/bin) or to write it encrypted in your adapter.ini using encrypted_aq_bridge_password=<encrypted_password>. To test your configuration you can omit "encrypted_" in parameter name and write it in clear in adapter.ini.

              Regards

                yeah , I had changed the ini entries, now the adapetr is connecting fine...I had imported a backup of repository also...but still getting the same problem...is there any possibility of iStudio being curroupt...
                I think I have tried all the options so far, my adapters are running fine,connecting to the respository, I had imported the dump (which was working previosuly... :-) without any errors/warnings, still getting the same issue..
                Any pointer what else can be checked?

                Thanx for the kind reply..

                  Yes, I got the resolution..

                  First the adapter entry was not proper, I also run procedure to start the queue...that worked & adapter started but still the issue remained unsiolved...then I imported the old dump which caused iStudio to run...

                  So both adapter entries as well as metadata was currropted I guess.

                  thnx as lot for the help.
