You've likely long since found these, but in the SDK directory that can optionally be installed with the 10g server product, there is a 'java' directory containing, in the words of its README file, "a few demo programs that demonstrate how to use the Oracle Calendar Sdk." A partial path to this directory is ocal/demo/sdk/java.
when I try to compile these java file using the command in the readme file, I got 100 errors the CSDKcalendar.java, 25 errors for calendar.java. Yes, I did set the classpath (or path) in the windows environment to point to csdk.jar file.

There was a mistake in the README for the classpath which as since then been corrected.
classpath should be "$ORACLE_HOME\ocal\jlib\csdk.jar;.", and not "$ORACLE_HOME\jlib\csdk.jar;."
