In Openscript execution , we get the result ,and each result have a iProperty , that tells the Date and time of execution, Result Status and Duration .
I want to Print the same in an excel sheet , in a customised way, but before that i want to save these values.
How can i get to the result's property using Java code?
Don't know exactly how to do it, but take a look at the java class:
You have several functions to manipulate the result...
See the Help menu -> Help content -> OATS -> OPenScript workbench -> Reference -> API reference
Gets attachedData from the current result.
Gets attachedData value by the attachedData key.
Gets the duration of the last action run.
Returns the exception of last run Action Result.
Gets the result code of current result, could be PASS/FAIL/WARN.
Thanks for your reply, I have tried using these functions already, but of no use, as its not giving me a time in sec for the whole script.as these are used in each steps.
So we could get each step infromation , but then when you add them up its not equal to the actual "Duration" taken by the script.
So I was wondering if we could get the script property(ex, iProperty) anyhow? because it contains the whole information I want.
Hope you understood what I am saying....
