1. create 2 Content-Canvases (CANVAS43, CANVAS37)
2. create a register (Tab-Canvas) (REGISTER1) via "Create-Tab-Canvas-Tool in Toolbar"-button and add it to a Content-Canvas (CANVAS43)
In the parsed XML-file of the FMB-file and at the FormsBuilder, there is no information (attribute) where the register should be placed. (on which content-canvas the tab-canvas lies)
The JDAPI can´t solve the problem, too.
Could you please help me? Is there any attribute, which is responsible for this case
Exactly which version of Forms are you using?
I am confused. What is your question? Are you trying to alter the form in the XML?
If you are wondering why the tab canvas is showing up on both CANVAS43 and 37, this is because a tab canvas is a special type of canvas. It is similar to a stacked canvas, although not exactly the same. If you want it to display indepentant of others, you need to insert it into its own WINDOW. Alternatively, you can hide and show it as desired using SHOW_VIEW. However, keep in mind that to "show" it, you need to send the cursor to an object on it. To hide it, you will first need to send the cursor to an object not on it then you can hide it.
Please review my previous post. You will not find a reference to a content canvas for a tab canvas because a tab canvas is not directly associated with any content canvas. In simple terms, if you have a tab canvas in the same window with other canvases, the tab canvas will appear on all content canvases. You can programatically show or hide it as needed.
