I am Installing Orace 12.2 on Aix, I would like to keep Database and concurrent tier on same server (ServerA) and Forms, web services on another server ServerB). How do I go about this?
When I install, on Primary apps server (ServerA), I see root services, web entry point and web services are already selected and greyed out. I selected batch services on same primary apps node. I added additional node/server (ServerB) and selected all services but batch services.
Once Installation was complete, I edited context file and updated services section to have only batch service enabled on primary apps server (ServerA) and all other services enabled on additional node (ServerB). After running I started service on primary apps which started conc managers. However on additional node, I got error saying can't reach management server and services won't start.
How about selecting Primary apps node as (ServerB) and add second node as (ServerA) . ServeA also hosts database and do above configuration?
You are not supposed to edit any context file during the installation.
To achieve this type of installation, please see the installation guide, "Example: Adding a Concurrent Processing Node that Resides on the Same Node as the Database Tier".
One more question.

2. Synchronize the secondary file system by executing the FS_CLONE adop phase (required)
Ensure the Weblogic Admin Server and Node Manager are running on the Run File system. You can run the following commands to check the status:
$ adadminsrvctl.sh status
$ adnodemgrctl.sh status
Run the ADOP FS_CLONE utility to synchronize the Patch file system:
$ adop phase=fs_clone
Note: The execution time of fs_clone is approximately 90 minutes.
Above step will sync both filesystem. I have conc tier running on one server and all other services on other server. I am running patch from Conc tier. Do I need to sync FS1 and FS2 on other server? I have established ssh connectivity between serverA and serverB.
