Permission denied while attempting to run sge jobs

I am unable to run any SGE jobs due to a permission issue while the log file is being created.  The test data is owned by the user and the job is submitted as the same user.  The problem is that the job is run as the user (as it should be) but the log files are being created by the admin account that owns the entire SGE environment.  This errors out since this admin account does not and should not have write access in this test data directory.  What is causing these files to be created as this admin account instead of my user account?

error: can't open output file "/user/abc123     /Test/Test_data/t3.olog": Permission denied
