I use Weblogic 12c on AIX and I want to add a server start argument for an IBM JVM that looks like this:
-Xdump:tool:events=systhrow,filter=java/lang/OutOfMemoryError,exec="kill -9 %pid"
Since it contains double quotes and spaces I cannot enter it as is with the Administration Console in the "Arguments" field on the "Configuration/Server Start" panel.
The console responds with:
Arguments may not contain '"'.
How can I escape the double quotes?
Thank you Jeets,
unfortunately escaping with backslash does not work, neither do single quotes.
I also tried XML-style quotes ("). These are converted to " when written to the config.xml file.
So I corrected them back to " but no luck. It's not reconverted to double quotes for the jvm command line.
Has anyone other suggestions?
