The oratab file used to be where you specify if a database should be started or not after the server reboot.
With the advent of Grid infrastructure, all services tend to be restarted automatically.
I am looking at database using ASM and while 2 of the database are restarted after reboot all others - 4 have to be manually started.
Where could this be stored?.......the oratab has got N against all the databases
You use "crsctl" to set it up,
crsctl modify resource "ora.asm" -attr "AUTO_START=1"
crsctl modify resource "ora.orlc.db" -attr "AUTO_START=1"
crsctl modify resource "ora.LISTENER.lsnr" -attr "AUTO_START=1"
