I saw your post regarding this question on LinkedIn (I was the one that just responded to that thread about coming here with your question), and glad you found your here with it. Welcome to the Insurance forums!
The best place to start is our Documaker documentation page: Insurance Documentation
You'll see there that there is a Samples and Tutorials page within: http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E41182_01/e41182_01_index.html
Presently there unfortunately is not much in the way of tutorials, but the sample libraries found here are completely functional and demonstrate most of the standard/basic Documaker features. I would recommend downloading these environments and using them as a reference. If you have a question about a particular feature, you can see how it's setup there if it's used in one of these environments, and you can try implementing it yourself in the sample environment if you'd like. It's a great self-study resource.
Yes i appreciate this, i will work through the sample and keep you up to date if i have any questions - if that is okay with you? I have been self-studying documaker and it is an interesting and powerful program. It will be in my best interest to be able to design any document within documaker for future usage. Please let me know when you will be in South Africa for training or any conference meetings please. Thank you in advance!
No problem! Feel free to reply to this thread with any further questions. I can only hope in my wildest of dreams that Oracle will send me off to South Africa one of these days. Good luck with your study!
