    Non-Oracle middleware & OVAB

I found the Oracle Virtual Assembly Builder (OVAB) discussion area has been archived so I ask here.

We are hosting Apache Tomcat and MySQL on the latest OVM and EM. Is it possible to create assemblies for Apache Tomcat and MySQL with OVAB?

          Its possible indeed ;-)

OVAB is an app packaging solution, and like all app packaging solutions takes LOTS of time to setup and create packages. Its not being revved often, and its very rough around the corners, i.e. the GUI is almost useless, the CLI is the best bet. FYI, its a WebLogic Enterprise feature, OVAB is bundled with WebLogic Enterprise Edition.
