In a report on Financial Reporting studio, we have the Account Dimension in the rows and the Departments dimension across the columns, which have UDAs. The UDAS for the department are reference in a text line below and pulled through.
There are members of the account dimension where we only want data to show for the departments that have a UDA attached.
The dataforms are at the Parent grouping level (i.e IT_Dept with 10 or so children departments) and there are many departments so we need the dataforms to pull through the members dynamically. This makes conditional formatting difficult as the children can not be displayed in their own column.
Does anyone have an idea how this can be acheived?
You cannot apply conditional suppression to a text row/column/cell (i.e. - you cannot apply conditional suppression to a text string), it must be a data row/column/cell in order to set conditional suppression. Conditional suppression does not support testing conditions for UDAs., however you can do a conditional test of Attribute dimension values.
