How is the utility APEX_UTIL.EXPORT_USERS invoked?

Hello,

We are using Apex 3.2 with Oracle 11g.

How is the utility, APEX_UTIL.EXPORT_USERS invoked?

The documentation states that it can create a file.

However, there doesn't seem to be anywhere to specify where to save a file.

Are there any examples elsewhere to reference?

Thank you,

Matt

    Hi,

    I have not Apex 3.2 so i try it on 4.2.

    Create region with type "PL/SQL (anonymous block)". In region source type :

    begin
      apex_util.export_users;
    end;

    In region header type <pre> and in region footer </pre>.

    Run page as user what have administrator privileges on workspace.

    Or you can do it from Oracle SQL Developer. Connect as user, who can execute packages in APEX schema (for exaple system). Run following

    code:

    DECLARE
      i INTEGER;
      param_val owa.vc_arr;
    BEGIN
      owa.init_cgi_env (param_val);
      i := apex_util.find_security_group_id('YOUR WORKSAPCE NAME');
      apex_util.set_security_group_id(i);
      apex_util.export_users();
    END;

    Don't forget enable OWA Output in SQL Developer - in menu View -> OWA Output and then in OWa Output window enable output for your session by clicking on green plus.
