from what I can tell, they are sorted, ALPHA ASC. I'm in version 4.0.1.
You can also type-navigate to the target.
Thank you for type-navigate hint, this feature is very useful.
I am also using version 4.0.1.
Here I uploaded screenshot of debug window, as you can see section where targets are listed, is not sorted alphabetically:
Can you tell me how to sort targets ?
Argh, it's a bug. It will at least be ordered to match how it's listed in the package (declaration order) and we can do some work here to make things easier to find. Stay tuned.
Thank you for your time, I will stay tuned.
Could you please provide for me the bug number?
And then i can know whether this bug is fixed and the fixed version.
Then i will add test case to cover this problem. Thanks!
When I right click on one of the names I get an option window for "Order Members By". That works for me.
However, maybe somewhat related to this original post, my biggest issue is when testing procedures of a package, the "Run PL/SQL" window that pops up doesn't have an option to sort the members. It would be nice to have those sorted or at least some way to easily select a particular procedure for testing.
Installed SQL Developer Version 184.108.40.206, this bug is still active.
The fix didn't get checked into the 4.0.2 branch in time. It will be fixed in the next update.
