after adding the JAR files, check the Deployment profile (Project Properties -> Deployment) if teh two JAR files are added as contributors. By default this is not the case and the libraries wont be deployed in a WAR or EAR fiel because of this
Was the server restarted after adding gson-2 library to classapth?
Because of a bug the jars added to the WEB-INF/lib directory of a web application sometimes do not get added to classpath. Add jars to base_domain/bin/startWebLogic set CLASSPATH
