I appreciate you help
Hi, thanks for replying again. This is a curious thing. As I described in the first message, install the test application, this works so great, both the test report, as well as my own reports too.
Then when I try to deploy my application with my own reports, this is where abnormal operation occurs.
The option 'Show Report (Directly)' works fine. But I prefer to use xlib_jasperreports, because I have to pass parameters to the query that generates my report.
The change in _rep_local and _rep_language settings make no difference.
I sense that one should take into account application-level settings, and I have imported the product of the application test that calls for reports (Usage) and normally works, my workspace and this conspicuously fails.
I am using (Oracle 11g, tomcat8, JasperReportsIntegration-220.127.116.11)
I would appreciate any suggestions.
Thanks for responding, the report contains an image (jpg), but this when called from the application test (Test JasperReportsIntegration) works perfectly, this is not true when I call from my application.
Both the application of test, as my application, are installed on the same workspace.
For a safe test, amount page 5 of the application of the test (called 'Usage') to my application, to call my report, it fails to show me who, behaving as already described (shows the characters of the source file. ...%PDF-1.4 % 3 0 obj <>stream .....continuous ...), being that this works perfectly in the test application (JasperReportsIntegration test), as described earlier that both are installed on the same workspace.
This has me worried, the report runs in an application to the couple, but not in mine.
IReport correctly generates the report.
I hope someone has been through this and can help me.
I would appreciate any ideas.
Sorry, I can't think of anything obvious... the same report when run through the JasperIntegration application works, but not from your own application. There must be some small difference between the two implementations, but I can't think why one would fail to process.
I've fixated on the image, but that could be a red-herring - does the report run without the image reference?
