Creating a parameterized content WebADI Custom Integrator

    Ram-EBS

      Hi there,

I am having problems in creating a parameterized content WebADI Custom Integrator. I have created the integrator with content and when I created the document (the final step), the excel sheet got opened with the following error

"A problem has been encountered initializing the control for importing data as detailed below.

The data import has been aborted.

      Cannot execute SQL Statement.

      Number of valid rows

      BNE_ROWCOUNT"

I am not sure why the problem has come, my query is correct (given below) and also attached the right parameter list.

      SELECT ORGANIZATION_ID,

             INVENTORY_ITEM_ID,

             BUYER_ID,

             LIST_PRICE_PER_UNIT,

             INVENTORY_PLANNING_CODE,

             MIN_MINMAX_QUANTITY,

             MAX_MINMAX_QUANTITY,

             DECODE (PLANNING_MAKE_BUY_CODE,  2, 'B',  1, 'M'),

             SOURCE_TYPE,

             SOURCE_ORGANIZATION_ID,

             FIXED_LOT_MULTIPLIER,

             'Y',

             PREPROCESSING_LEAD_TIME,

             FULL_LEAD_TIME,

             POSTPROCESSING_LEAD_TIME,

             FIXED_LEAD_TIME,

             VARIABLE_LEAD_TIME,

             BUILD_IN_WIP_FLAG

        FROM MTL_SYSTEM_ITEMS_B

      WHERE MRP_PLANNING_CODE = 7

      AND ORGANIZATION_ID = $PARAM$.P_ORGANIZATION_ID

Can anybody help me on this?

      Regards,

      Ram

          H. Ram,

I see that you have opened a Service Request for that.

Good idea since other information, BNE log are needed to diagnose and help you.

I see that you have "P_ORGANIZATION_ID" in your SQL query for your content

although you use parameter with name "ORGANIZATION_ID". Shouldn't be the same name?

          Regards,

          Phil.

            Hi Phil,

As you might already know, the syntax for parameterized content in the SQL query is $PARAM$.<Parameter>. Also we have to provide the value for Parameter List in the 'Content Parameters' section if our SQL query has a parameter.

Now the <Parameter> part in the query refers to the column that is specified in our Parameter List. To define the Parameter List there is a separate screen in Desktop Integration Manager responsibility. I am unable to define a new Parameter List that derives the data from ORG_ORGANIZATION_DEFINITIONS table. This is where the problem lies.

            Regards,

            Ram
