You select the view as part of the data rule definition, and when the data is extracted,

it includes the View selection as the value for the dimension on each row

Before the data extraction process, you must create all members in the View dimension manually.

The only place to specify YTD vs PERIODIC is within the data load rule.

you can add View dimension to your import format and enter PERIODIC in the expression field.

Then column DATAVIEW in TDATASEG will be PERIODIC.

I faced with same issue but I do not understand how you can fix it , Could you please give some details about the script that you can modify tdataseg table?

If your file contains PERIODIC data, it will be enough if you add the View dimension to the Import Format.

Go to Import Format > Add > Dimension Row > View

Then enter 1 in Field Number and PERIODIC in Expression.

By default View is set as YTD in FDMEE.

With this approach you would not need any event script to update TDATASEG.
