    ocfs2 errors

    D_B

      Hello,

      Can someone shed some light to the following error messages that popped up in /var/log/messages this morning during a stress test (had lots of them):

      Apr  8 10:30:14 nfstesto2 kernel: (ls,20940,0):ocfs2_read_virt_blocks:985 ERROR: status = -5

      Apr  8 10:30:14 nfstesto2 kernel: (ls,20940,0):ocfs2_read_dir_block:532 ERROR: status = -5

      Apr  8 10:30:14 nfstesto2 kernel: (ls,20940,0):ocfs2_read_blocks:218 ERROR: status = -5

      This is running on:

      [root@nfstesto2 data]# cat /etc/oracle-release

      Oracle Linux Server release 6.5

      [root@nfstesto2 data]# cat /proc/version

      Linux version 3.8.13-26.2.1.el6uek.x86_64 (mockbuild@ca-build44.us.oracle.com) (gcc version 4.4.7 20120313 (Red Hat 4.4.7-3) (GCC) ) #2 SMP Fri Feb 21 12:07:53 PST 2014

      The ocfs2 is configured as:

      [root@nfstesto2 data]# cat /etc/ocfs2/cluster.conf

      node:

              ip_port = 7777

              ip_address = 10.32.164.212

              number = 1

              name = nfstesto1.sti.usherbrooke.ca

              cluster = ocfs2

      node:

              ip_port = 7777

              ip_address = 10.32.164.213

              number = 2

              name = nfstesto2.sti.usherbrooke.ca

              cluster = ocfs2

      node:

              ip_port = 7777

              ip_address = 10.32.164.214

              number = 3

              name = nfstesto3.sti.usherbrooke.ca

              cluster = ocfs2

      cluster:

              node_count = 3

              name = ocfs2

      When this happened we could not see the new files created on the ocfs2 volume anymore.

      Thanks.

      Denis
