    OSB Business Service - Invoking external webservice

    user11143079

      Hi,

      From my OSB env I have to invoke an external webservice. I created a business service with with end point URL set to external service url (https://....)

      When I invoke this service, I am getting the below error:

      <con:fault xmlns:con="http://www.bea.com/wli/sb/context">

        <con:errorCode>BEA-380002</con:errorCode>

        <con:reason>qa.partner.com</con:reason>

        <con:location>

          <con:node>InvokeExternalService</con:node>

          <con:path>request-pipeline</con:path>

        </con:location>

      </con:fault>>

      Here are some additional points

      Admins confirms that OSB server can successfully communicates with Partner system when they invoke directly.

      But when I invoke this business service, security team looking into firewall logs (exit firewall from my company) doesn't seems trace of any messages recieved in the firewall logs.

      So it seems like messages have not gone out of OSB server, but I don't see any more details than the error above in OSB log files.

      Also when I am reading related threads, I am seeing requirment for creating a Proxy server. Is that what I am missing?

      Can anyone shed some light on this matter? Any help will be appreciated.

      Regards,

      Ranjith
