Hyperion Implementation - Windows vs Oracle Linux

      Hi Guys,

I want to know if there is a clear advantage of implementing Hyperion on Windows over Linux. The architecture will be a 3 tier architecture, with the in one server, Essbase in another and relational db separately.

Planning to use FDQM as well, and I know that it is available only on Windows.

I've read on some blogs that Hyperion and Essbase were designed out of the box for windows and that calc scripts perform well on the aforementioned platform.

      Could anyone validate this please.

Any references would be of great help.
