JavaFX 8 Embedded Mode

stefschwanApr 16 2014 — edited Apr 17 2014

Hello all!

I'm still looking into using Java + JavaFX 8 for an embedded X86 device. I've found that there is a mode, described here (30 UI Controls on the Embedded Platforms (Release 8)), which includes an on-screen keyboard, and a modified style (embdedded.css), which is suited for embedded devices with a touch screen. Is there any way to enable this mode manually? I have tried connecting a touchscreen to a windows 7 PC, but I don't get the on-board keyboard or the embedded GUI style.

Best regards,

Stefan
