Login and play around a little. You'll find Top Tech Docs, link to open TARs, various forums, etc.

So how can solve my oracle issues , like through posting messages, online chat , or what is the best way in case of emergency?

In an emergency, I suggest you open a TAR. For technical info read thru or post a topic.

So service request & forums are 2 types of help at metalink.
If you can give me some examples for getting support from metalink that would be good. Like i have problem with EMDB control start up . how i can get help?

In an emergency, I suggest you open a TAR.
Bear in mind that support is a costly operation for Oracle, so they vigourously weed SRs. Expect a tough time if you are running on the latest patch release or if you cannot produce a test case using the sample schema. Oh, and don't expect their definition of "emergency" match yours ;)

On the other hand the search engine attached to the TAR process is smarter than the standard metalink one. Quite often I have started raising a TAR after failing to find a solution from a Metalink search but got the answer from one of the documents the TAR engine suggested . Also, the mere act of trying to put together a test case can throw illumination on your scenario.

Cheers, APC
